Vassili Balatsos

Vassilis Balatsos (b. 1966) is known for his activity as an artist and co-owner of the Unlimited gallery (which operated till 2005), where he had the opportunity to work with artists such as Erwin Wurm, Lothar Hempel and others.

As an artist, he had many solo exhibitions, at Ozon, Athens, Unlimited Gallery in Athens and Villa Arson in Nice, France. He has participated in a series of group exhibitions in museums such as Maison Blanche, Switzerland, the State Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki and the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens. His works are in many private collections but also in the collections of important museums such as the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MAMCO) in Geneva, Switzerland, the Art Cologne Foundation in Cologne, Germany and Benaki Museum in Athens, Greece.
